Healing in the ontario wildness

When going into the Canadian wildness the first thing is the pure beauty of the surroundings. The trees and animals that are all around you when walking and just sitting still by the lakes.

The air is fresh and as you walk across the well walked paths you can see many wonders of local nature.

The group I walked into this view just around the corner from a group of trees.
The beauty of all this is just being and standing before this healing the soul from the damage of modern world.

Port Seven lake area.

Canoeing around the Lakes of Ontario,we discovered this very "beautiful site "on a small island. It is very sad that people would leave all this garbage and think it was OK.

The area is very beautiful and the water is clear and just lovely to swim in.So it is very disappointing to see this in the present day with the awareness of nature.

I am left with two choices leave it for someone else or help to get the stuff cleaned up.Maybe before the summer is over we will decide.

Thoughts on the movie "What the Bleep do you think you know"

This movie is sold as a documentary about Quantum Mechanics of the universe. But ends as bad science and a spiritual movie about our place in the world. As the saying goods "follow the money"and you get the people or group behind the movie.

Here's where it gets strange the movie was funded by a cult type group with the leader actually in the film.
Ramtha
Master Teacher – Ramtha School of Enlightenment
Channeled by JZ Knight
"They are stating as a fact, that one of the people you have been listening to for the previous 90 minutes, a main authority for the information being presented, is a 35,000 year old warrior spirit from Atlantis, being channeled by this Tacoma housewife turned cult leader. The woman pictured is JZ Knight, but you are not listening to JZ Knight. You are literally listening to
Ramtha. There were people who saw this film and didn’t say, “That’s just a woman putting on a funny accent”. Scary, huh?
At this point the film lost any remaining pretence of being based on any kind of science or facts.
I did a little digging on
Ramtha:
Ramtha is a 35,000 year-old spirit-warrior who appeared in J.Z. Knight’s kitchen in Tacoma, Washington in 1977. Knight claims that she is Ramtha’s channel. She also owns the copyright to Ramtha and conducts sessions in which she pretends to go into a trance and speaks Hollywood’s version of Elizabethan English in a guttural, husky voice. She has thousands of followers and has made millions of dollars performing as Ramtha at seminars ($1,000 a crack) and at her Ramtha School of Enlightenment, and from the sales of tapes, books, and accessories (Clark and Gallo 1993). She must have hypnotic powers. Searching for self-fulfillment, otherwise normal people obey her command to spend hours blindfolded in a cold, muddy, doorless maze.
Upon further investigation I find the films’ producers, writers, directors, and a number of the featured “experts” are members of the Ramtha School of Enlightenment. The film is a propaganda piece for a cult.
What the (Bleep) Were They Thinking?
I can answer that now. They were thinking that if they made a film using the word “quantum” a lot, plus plenty of feel-good drivel they would (a) make a ton of money (not that they are short of the stuff), and (b) gain more recruits to their loony-tunes cult. This is probably one of the few things they got right."
References Big thank to Skeptico blog for the above info.

The cult has a web site of course .What gets me mad is the hidden secretiveness of it all.

Look beyond what people are telling you and watch out for the "takers of money and your mental health"

Fear of the complex system around us.

As we move forward along the 21st century the image that the system we all live with is a fragile and complex as a rain forest comes to mind. Each computer linked to another like small flowers on the forest floor. The Internet like the root system covering everything and richly laid down.

But all very variable to outside stress and damage .Like the gentle floor of the forest with the water slowly raining down keeping the life cycles going the Internet and the computer world is kept alive with the buzz of electricity. The hum of the the unseen power that is easily taken from us with a power cut or generation failure.

Then we are plunged into darkness with all the electrical equipment not working and the down fall of the modern infrastructure collapse.
But if we dont forget the basics then we could still rebuild our world again.

Nothing happens within a vacuum.

The World around us is in constant motion.Movement from place of work to home or school to home. From sitting still at work to walking around the place of work.

Ideas are the same we see something that helps us build on an idea. These concepts are not found

alone without foundation.Ideas do not just happen something has gone before to lay the building stones to help us move forward.

Many things around us at first seemed to have happened without a history have a detailed history of events leading to that moment of concept or construction.

As the space program continues only that seems to happen within a physical vacuum not a mental vacuum of tests and trails and failures leading to the advisement of human exploration.

looking beyond the trees

looking out beyond the rocks and trees we see something of what we really are.The wind molds the trees and the rain changes the growth patterns of these trees but they still grow. That's a lesson to pass on.
Summer is over and we all have been to different places over the last 2 months.I hope that this summer I learnt to be closer to the people that I love very much.
Get out and see this place your country were ever you are.
